Efficient Pre-separation with the Pyramid
The proven geometry from the PaintGrid has been integrated into the Pyramid, ensuring controlled airflow within the filter unit. The airflow is specifically redirected so that paint particles are separated from the process air early on and efficiently. This effective pre-separation significantly reduces the load on the downstream filters. This results in longer service life and consistently stable extraction performance.

The Pyramide+ can be used as a 200 mm deep single module and replaced independently of the Paintblock. In many applications, the downstream Paintblock remains in service two to three times as long as the Pyramide+ pre-separation unit.

Alternatively, the Pyramide can be mounted as a pre-separation module directly on the doors or covers of the Paintblock+ in front of the inlet opening. This variant is particularly useful when the pre- and post-filters are to be replaced together or the installation situation does not allow for the use of a single module.
Expanded filter structure for better paint separation with the Pyramide+
Compared to the classic PaintGrid pre-separator, the Pyramide+ features an additional baffle plate, similar to the one used in the Paintblock+. This expands the filter structure and improves separation performance, so that paint particles are removed even more effectively from the process air. At the same time, the capacity for overspray is increased. Thanks to NeuFilter’s flexible “Think outside the Box” approach, the pre-separation plate, as already seen in the Paintblock+, can also be used in two different orientations in the Pyramide+. This allows the system to be optimally adapted to different flow directions and system conditions. Consequently, the 200 mm deep Pyramide+ single module offers a total of four configuration options:
Option 1: Use without a baffle plate
The Pyramide+ can be used without an integrated baffle plate. To do this, the covers of the inlet and outlet openings are removed and discarded. This creates a compact single pre-separator with the separation efficiency of two PaintGrid elements in a 200 mm deep module.
Option 2: Pre-separator with slanted baffle plate
The covers of the inlet and outlet openings can be assembled to form a slanted separation plate (similar to PaintGrid H). This variant is particularly suitable for applications where the overspray enters the filter unit from above.
Option 3: Pre-separator with front baffle plate
The outlet cover can be pre-folded at the designated point and combined with the inlet cover. This configuration is ideal when paint overspray hits the separator head-on or is used in so-called hotspot areas.
Option 4: Pre-separator with “Pyramid” add-on module (optional)
When the inlet opening is open, an additional pyramid can be attached to the doors as a pre-separation module. This variant is suitable for applications with particularly high loads where additional impact separation is required. In this combination, the separation efficiency roughly corresponds to a multi-stage PaintGrid arrangement (L/M/L/M).
Thus, the Pyramid+ offers maximum flexibility while delivering high and adjustable separation performance.

For the Pyramide+, the integrated pre-separator is assembled using the removable covers or windows of the inlet and outlet openings, so no additional assembly components are required. An assembly and installation video is also available via the QR code for this.
